WIF launched on Solana in November 2023 and went from $0.004 to an ATH of $4.80 by March 2024 — becoming the third-largest meme coin behind only DOGE and SHIB. The original photo of Achi sold as an NFT for over 1,210 ETH ($4.3 million). The community's rallying cry "the hat stays on" drove viral stunts — they placed a knitted hat on Wall Street's charging bull statue and crowdfunded $700K+ to put WIF on the Las Vegas Sphere.
