Brainlet is based on the Wojak variant depicting a character with a visibly smooth, shrunken brain — the meme representation of making terrible financial decisions, buying every top, selling every bottom, and generally being the dumbest money in the room. The Ethereum token turned this self-deprecating humor into a tradeable asset. What gave Brainlet real momentum was the involvement of a massive Pepe whale known as DMT, whose conviction buys rallied the community behind the token. People saw DMT loading up and followed, creating a cascading effect that pushed the market cap to $55 million. It's a perfect example of how meme coins often need a figurehead whale whose public buying gives the community confidence.
