"Few understand" (sometimes written as "few" or "few understand this") became the go-to phrase for crypto holders who believed they saw something the rest of the world hadn't figured out yet. It was used after sharing a chart, a thesis, or a macro take — the implication being that you were among the enlightened few. The phrase embodied the combination of intellectual superiority and financial conviction that defined Bitcoin maximalism in particular. It could be used earnestly or ironically, and eventually became a meme of itself — people would reply "few" to the most absurd takes as a joke. It's still used today, mostly ironically.
