Charlotte Fang
Built crypto's most powerful digital cult. Survived being cancelled.
Known For
Founder of Milady Maker and Remilia Collective
Charlotte Fang is the pseudonymous founder of the Milady Maker NFT collection and the Remilia Collective. An art school dropout turned internet theorist, Fang built what many consider crypto's first true digital cult. In May 2022, Fang was exposed as the person behind "Miya," a controversial Twitter persona linked to offensive content, hate speech, and alleged connections to extremist groups. Milady's floor price crashed. Fang stepped down, admitted to being Miya, called it "performance art and satire." But instead of dying, Milady became anti-fragile — Elon Musk tweeted a Milady meme, Vitalik Buterin used one as his profile picture, and the collection recovered to become one of the top PFP projects in existence. Fang later sued internal team members, raised $20 million through a CULT token presale, and remained one of the most polarizing figures in crypto.
