BitBoy (Ben Armstrong)

Built the biggest crypto YouTube channel. Lost everything on livestream.

Known For

Biggest crypto YouTuber who had one of the most spectacular public downfalls in CT history

Ben Armstrong turned BitBoy Crypto into one of the most-watched channels in the space, surpassing 1 million YouTube subscribers. But behind the scenes, things were falling apart. In mid-2023 he launched the $BEN meme coin with ben.eth amid claims of a rug pull. His parent company Hit Network removed him in August 2023, citing substance abuse and "emotional, physical and financial damage" to employees. Weeks later, he was arrested while livestreaming an attempt to confront a former business partner over a Lamborghini. Police found narcotics in his car. He revealed an affair with the CEO of BEN Coin on the same stream. He filed lawsuits, got counter-sued, faced a CFTC subpoena, had a $1 billion class action filed against him alongside Binance, and Kevin O'Leary won a $2.8 million defamation judgment against him. By late 2025 he was reportedly near-insolvent with his wallets drained.
